Each year, the Interdisciplinary Association for Population Health Science (IAPHS) offers 7 award opportunities for members of the organization, described below. To be eligible, individuals are required to be current members of the organization. We encourage members to nominate deserving colleagues, including nominees from underrepresented groups. Self nominations are acceptable. Award winners are recognized at the annual meeting. Award nominations are accepted from December to March of each respective year.

Nominations will be accepted between December 2, 2024 and March 21, 2025.
J. Michael McGinnis Leadership Excellence Award
Honors a leader whose outstanding accomplishments, commitment, values and contributions best reflect the mission of IAPHS to advance population health science through science, translational activities and mentoring.
Stephanie Robert Mentoring Award
Recognizes an outstanding Mentor for their dedication and significant positive impact on the intellectual and professional development of emerging scholars.
The Milbank Quarterly
Early Career Award in Population Health
Recognizes significant contributions to population health science by an individual who has received the Ph.D., MD or a comparable graduate degree no more than ten years before the year of the award.
IAPHS Student Award
Recognize work of notable quality, potential, and/or likely impact on the field completed by a trainee in the population health sciences.
IAPHS Postdoctoral Award
Recognize work of notable quality, potential, and/or likely impact on the field completed by a trainee in the population health sciences.
The Ida B. Wells Public Engagement Award
To recognize outstanding accomplishments by an individual, organization or partnership for the successful translation of population health scientific research into service of the public good.
