The IAPHS Board: Who and What?

IAPHS Board of Directors

The Board consists of seven individuals who are devoting their time and energy to developing the membership organization. Currently, board members are overseeing the work of committees, developing the IAPHS business plan and communications activities, connecting with other organizations and leaders in the field, and managing our small budget. When IAPHS completes its transition to a membership organization, the current Board will be replaced with an elected one.

Five of the Board members serve as Officers of the Association and two as At-Large members. (read more) President Dorothy Daley provides overall leadership for the Board and presides at meetings; she also co-chairs the Meeting Planning Committee. Vice President Yonette Thomas supports the President and assumes his/her duties in the President’s absence in addition to chairing the Development Committee. Secretary Gerard Lebeda is responsible for preparing minutes of Board meetings; he also oversees website development and chairs the Website Committee. Treasurer José Pagán oversees IAPHS finances and serves on the Application Committee. Managing Director Chris Bachrach is responsible for coordinating organizational operations, administrative and budgetary management, and preparing reports.
