Liana Petruzzi

Liana Petruzzi, LCSW is a doctoral student at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on social work interventions in healthcare settings, interdisciplinary healthcare, social determinants of health and health equity. She is particularly interested in reducing racial and economic health disparities by partnering with the local community and utilizing mixed methodologies. She also has 2 years of clinical experience as a medical social worker at an interdisciplinary primary care clinic working with uninsured and underinsured people.
