Kaitlyn Jaffe

Kaitlyn Jaffe is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Bioethics and Social Sciences in Medicine at the University of Michigan. She completed her PhD in Sociology at the University of British Columbia and MA in Social Science at the University of Chicago. Kate’s work focuses on lay perceptions of medical research and ethical issues in clinical trials, with published work in Sociology of Health and Illness, Qualitative Health Research, Drug and Alcohol Dependence, and International Journal of Drug Policy, among other venues.
