Ian Shrier

Dr. Shrier has been a practicing sport and exercise medicine physician for over 30 years. His interest in causal inference stems from his experiences as a physician, his PhD in Physiology, and his post-doctoral training in Epidemiology. He has over 290 peer-reviewed publications on various topics including causal inference and causal directed acyclic graphs. As a physician, causal inference and more specifically causal directed acyclic graphs, have helped him improve the care of his patients.
