Helen Meier
Dr. Meier is an Assistant Research Scientist at the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research. She is an epidemiologist and her research examines how social vulnerabilities become biological vulnerabilities resulting in health disparities. Dr. Meier uses a multi-level biosocial approach, ranging from biomarkers to structural drivers, to investigate health and health inequities.
