Dr. Christopher Steven Marcum (He/Him/They/Them @csmarcum) is a mathematical sociologist at the National Institutes of Health. He serves as a staff scientist of Data Science Strategy at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the Office of Data Science and Emerging Technologies. His research focuses on social networks, aging, and health. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his son, Grafton, and their two dogs, Nancy and Tanner.
