Population Activities and Interest
The Duke University Population Research Institute (DUPR)I is an interdisciplinary research organization bringing together scientists from the social and behavioral sciences (demography, economics, psychology, sociology) and the biological, mathematical, statistical and health sciences at Duke. The Institute seeks to catalyze cutting-edge research that speaks to fundamental questions of population well-being that expand the boundaries of demographic investigation and fosters the development of the next generation of population science researchers. Our research themes include Foundations of Lifelong Health, Interconnected Social Systems and Population Health, Durham Population Lab, Biodemography, Life Course and Intergenerational Analysis.
