The Delta Population Health Institute is the community engagement arm of NYIT-College of Osteopathic Medicine. We are a diverse team of caring specialists and experts devoted to addressing the social factors of health by promoting cultural transformation and health equity to catalyze thriving and prosperous rural communities of the Delta.
What we do:
Provide quality population health education and training
Engage in quality clinical outreach
Conduct community-based participatory research to inform evidence-based practices and guide policy change
Create an integrated linked system to ensure valuable resources are accessible to local communities
Convene and partner with multi-sector stakeholders to promote positive health impacts
