Population Activities and Interest
The University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute serves as a focal point for public health and health policy within the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. The mission of the Institute is Translating Research for Policy and Practice, and it brings together faculty, staff, and students interested in applying their skills and experience to address significant questions of topical relevance beyond the academic arena. The Institute’s work is led by a team of experts well-recognized in their fields and serves as a bridge among the arenas of public health and health policy and practice with an active advisory board, issue briefs and reports, training and technical assistance and periodic conferences and educational programs.
