Population Activities and Interest
The College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University offers master’s and doctorate degrees in population health. Adopting a systems science approach, our program fosters partnerships across non-traditional sectors to identify and implement health solutions for diverse populations. CHS aims to prepare students and graduates to: a) enter the workforce with the ability to recognize diverse populations and delineate the intricate system of factors impacting population health; b) equip students with critical thinking skills necessary to discern the interplay of complex factors from healthcare and public health affecting the well-being of diverse populations; and c) train students on various methodologies essential for data collection and the implementation or dissemination of programs and information within healthcare systems, communities, and other environments, ultimately promoting population health.
