Dr. Payne-Sturges is an Associate Professor with the Maryland Institute for Applied Environmental Health at the University of Maryland, School of Public Health. She holds joint appointment in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Her research interests are children’s environmental health, environmental-health disparities, cumulative risk, and policy reform. Along with Dr. Hicken, Dr. Payne-Sturges is co-chair of ISEE’s Anti-Racism Task Force.
