Kathryn M. Leifheit, PhD MSPH, is a social epidemiologist and postdoctoral fellow in Health Policy and Management at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Her research seeks to identify social policy levers to improve population health and health equity, with a focus on housing policy. Dr. Leifheit’s recent work evaluates the effects of residential evictions on child and population health outcomes. She earned her PhD in epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health in 2020.
