Jennifer Richmond, MSPH, is a doctoral student in the Department of Health Behavior at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Gillings School of Global Public Health and a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Research Scholar. Her research explores racial and ethnic disparities in health care engagement and use of health services (e.g., cancer screening and treatment). In her career, she aims to partner with communities and interdisciplinary scholars to translate research results into policies that build health equity. Richmond earned a Master of Science in Public Health degree from the Department of Health Behavior at UNC-Chapel Hill.
