Jackie White Hughto is a social epidemiologist who employs quantitative and qualitative methods to examine the structural-, interpersonal-, and individual-level factors that contribute to health inequities for sexual and gender minorities and other marginalized populations. Her research also involves designing and testing multi-level interventions to improve health outcomes for at-risk populations. Dr. White Hughto is a post-doctoral fellow at Brown University. She holds a PhD in Chronic Disease Epidemiology from Yale University and an MPH in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from Emory University.
