Erika Blacksher is an ethicist who studies ethical and policy questions raised by health inequalities in the United States and the role of deliberative democracy in improving health equity and the health of all. Dr. Blacksher is the John B. Francis Chair at the Center for Practical Bioethics in Kansas City, Missouri and Research Professor in the Department of History and Philosophy of Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
