September Conference Tackles Challenging Population Health Issues

The September 19 – 21 conference at Penn State University, “Persistent and Emerging Issues in Population Health Science,” will explore some of the most challenging population health topics and feature prominent scholars in the field.  Sessions will shed light on a range of topics, including:

• Inequality, violence and the criminal justice system
• Patterns underlying risk, environmental justice and environmental emergencies
• Ending Racism in America: Agendas from and for Science
