Kerry Anne McGeary

Kerry Anne McGeary joined the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) in 2013 as a senior program officer in the Research-Evaluation-Learning unit.

An award-winning professor and researcher, she is a nationally-recognized economist whose extensive research has focused on economic policy, health economics, and health services. During her tenure in academia, she directed a state health and health policy research center, which was awarded both federally-funded and privately-funded grants and contracts. Her research has informed and fueled deliberations both in Congress and in state legislatures.

In reflecting on her work at the Foundation, McGeary says that “we must create a seismic shift in how we approach health, how it impacts our lives, and how health should guide the decisions we make. As a country, we need to expand our focus to address ways that we can promote health over the course of our lifetimes and for generations to come.” She praises RWJF’s vision of promoting a Culture of Health and enjoys contributing to its significant investment in developing rigorous, timely and actionable research.
