Erika Blacksher

Erika Blacksher, PhD, is Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Bioethics and Humanities at the University of Washington. Dr. Blacksher studies conceptual, normative, and empiric questions raised by health inequalities–with focus on class, race, and early life adversity–and population health policy. Her current empiric research examines deliberative approaches to convening marginalized and minority populations to address health priorities, including health disparities.
